When Rita and I really got into our gym journey, we had to bump up our daily protein, but in a way that stayed low in fat and still tasted good. And somewhere along the way, we discovered the true hero of high-protein cooking: Greek yogurt.
I’m not kidding… once we realized how versatile it is, we went all in. Dressings? Yep. Bagels? Absolutely. Pizza? YES, pizza! Greek yogurt somehow works in everything, and at this point I’ve lost count of how many times we’ve used it this year alone.
So if you’re trying to increase your protein, keep things light, or just explore new recipes with Greek yogurt, this list is a total lifesaver. High-protein, easy, delicious and approved by both of us. Let’s dive in!
1) Greek Yogurt Bagels

Rita’s Greek yogurt bagels were one of the first recipes that made us fall in love with cooking with Greek yogurt. Just 3 ingredients, completely sugar-free, and honestly some of the simplest, most delicious bagels you’ll ever make.
We freeze a batch and just pop them in the toaster whenever we need a quick, high-protein bite. Perfect for busy days.
2) Greek Yogurt Pizza Dough

Rita’s Greek yogurt pizza dough is our favorite “healthy but still tastes amazing” kind of recipe. It’s delicious, crispy, and full of that classic pizza flavor but made lighter and higher in protein thanks to the Greek yogurt.
It comes together in just minutes with only 5 ingredients. Easy, quick, and perfect for guilt-free pizza nights.
3) Greek Yogurt Cookie Dough

This Greek yogurt cookie dough is my high-protein twist on one of my favorite childhood treats. It’s easy, gluten-free, totally safe to eat raw, and packed with protein thanks to the Greek yogurt.
All the nostalgic cookie-dough flavor without the eggs or wheat flour, just a creamy, delicious, guilt-free spoonful of happiness. Perfect when you want something sweet and high in protein.
4) Apple Yogurt Rolls

Rita’s apple yogurt rolls are one of our favorite quick Greek-yogurt bakes! Just 3 ingredients and you get a soft, bread-like roll that stays incredibly moist thanks to the little apple chunks wrapped inside. They come together in under 30 minutes and make the perfect high-protein snack or breakfast treat. Warm, simple, and so good.
5) Keto Cloud Bread

Rita’s keto cloud bread is shockingly good for something made with just 3 ingredients. It turns into this delicious, fluffy, light, totally gluten-free bread that’s low-carb and perfect for breakfast, sandwiches, or snacks. We make it all the time when we want something high in protein but still soft and bread-like. So simple and so good.
6) Keto Cheesecake

This 3-ingredient keto cheesecake is one of the easiest (and creamiest!) desserts we make. It tastes just like the classic but is so much lighter, lower in carbs, and naturally high in protein thanks to the Greek yogurt. Add a few fresh berries on top and you’ve got a ridiculously satisfying dessert with almost no effort.
7) Yogurt Ranch Dressing

This yogurt ranch dressing is creamy, tangy, and ready in just a few minutes. I make it all the time! It’s perfect for drizzling over salads, using as a dip, or spreading on sandwiches.
Honestly, it’s my go-to for just about everything, which tells you how good it is. One of the easiest recipes I’ve ever made, and so much better (and healthier!) than anything you’ll find at the store.
See? I told you Greek yogurt somehow works in everything. Every time we tried a new recipe, we’d look at each other like, “Nope… there’s no way this is going to work.” (Especially the pizza dough, we were convinced that one would fail.) But it did work… and it tasted amazing!
Greek yogurt has become one of those ingredients we can’t live without now. It’s light, high in protein, super versatile, and honestly kind of magical.
And if you’re looking for even more quick, healthy ideas, we also have a roundup of our favorite fast breakfasts that come together in about 15 minutes. Most of them are on the healthier side too, especially if you’re on a similar fitness journey.
Oh and if you have a favorite recipe you make with Greek yogurt, please share it with us! We’re always excited to try something new… even if we say “there’s no way this will work” first.
